SEMINAR FOR LIBRARY STAFF
Mrs Evelyn Apronti Tetteh, Assistant Librarian (Collection Management), a beneficiary of CARNEGIE sponsored CPD programme organized a one day seminar for MUCG Library staff on the 29th February, 2016.
In line with the policy of the library, she organize a seminar to share the knowledge and skills she acquired from the programme with her colleagues.
BOOK DONATION
As part of our community service, the library has donated books to the following institutions:
- Wesley Gramma Senior High School, Dansoman – 200 assorted books.
- Methodist Day Senior High School, Tema – 200 assorted books.
- Achinakrom School Library (Through Prof Abena Dolphyne) – 200 assorted books
E-RESOURCES TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR STUDENTS
The library is organizing series of training programmes on “effective use of e-resources” for graduate and level 400 undergraduate students. Interested students should please register at the service desks of any of the libraries.
LIBRARIAN OBTAINED PHD
The library staff organized a welcome party for the Librarian Dr. Mac-Anthony Cobblah when he returned to office on the 5th October, 2015 after obtaining his PhD from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Welcoming their boss, Mrs Tetteh, Assistant Librarian said library staff were proud of him. In his response, Dr Cobblah thanked the colleagues for the surprise welcome party and also their support and contribution to his achievement.
